12-2 Buzzer Beater

I saw the conclusion to the mens basketball rivalry game and finally learned what college basketball is about. In a part of the world where the battle colors are red and white an exciting game climaxed in a victory of the home team on a three point conversion at the buzzer. Jones the 6'8" forward received the pass after the point guard pushed the ball into the key on the bounce. The drive and dish play was a lesson in the fine art of buzzer beating game winning treys. In the tradition Jordan and Melo the play was everything I love about the sport. In the same conversation I must question the actions of those players that decided to have a brawl in the closing moments of an already decided contest. This situation makes me question what we are teaching the youth. How could the most blessed generation in history be on a quest in search of such dark and evil spirits. Violence is no way to demonstrate how much knowledge of mans possibilities we have realized. The act of love can produce more energy than ten suns. So we must love our children so much that we always present them with an adequate amount of teaching and corrective influence through love. It's when the media uses propaganda techniques to push the negative story to the forefront of our social consciencene that we lose our oneness with the creator as a group of people because of our desire to judge one another. Do not allow a preconceived perception affect your opinion about the proper reaction to adversity. As a child of God we must be on guard against the attacks of the enemy. No matter which direction it comes from.
